This is where the site's story starts and is the intended beginning place, no matter what Tale you read next.

The intended and classic story that the site was created to hold (in addition to other experiences). It details the story of Lucifer, the feelings, the tone, the bitterness, but all in my view. The About page mostly reflects on this story, as anything beyond Satanas In Solitudine was written 6 months before the invention of Nefeshiel.

The story was intended to portray Lucifer as a sympathetic figure, but it ended up being a more... empathizable figure. I used a few different methods to get it just right, and I wrote it mid art class for a good chunk of it. Written in Notepad++ and Fedora's text editor.

In the car on the way to class, I decided I wanted to create an angel... At first I considered it might be taboo to create essentially a biblical OC that follows a character from the actual Bible. And then I was like it would be entirely too amazing to make a character based off of Lucifer from the Bible.

Nefeshiel, [Spirit/Soul/Breath] of God, was created to watch over the Fallen Angel and ensure that no human soul came into unfair challenges due to the influences of Hell. The angel was to be a silent guardian of people, but ended up observing Lucifer throughout both of their new lives.

Nefeshiel felt connected to the Fallen Angel, but was both forbidden to and knew it was futile to act parallel to #####, of all people. When Lucifer was to fall eternally, Nefeshiel would be retrieved... But to watch by the sideline was only natural.
